Los Angeles is a city full of creativity and everyone here carries something that shapes who they are, but more importantly, how they express themselves.

TRIPOD SWEEP FROM OPEN GUARD – NOGI
A clean and effective sweep from open guard using strong off-balancing and control.
This sequence focuses on proper foot placement, controlling the upper body, and extending at the right moment to disrupt your opponent’s base and secure the sweep.
Adapted for Nogi, this variation emphasizes simple grips, angle management, and timing to make the movement efficient and reliable.
Applicable across all levels, this technique builds strong open guard fundamentals and introduces high-percentage sweeping mechanics.

AUTORE BJJ - NEW OUTDOOR TRAINING SPACE
We’re excited to introduce our new outdoor mat space at Autore BJJ.
As our academy continues to grow, this new area allows us to expand training opportunities and create more room for our students on the mats.
Starting Monday, a few updates to the schedule will take effect:
- Our 6:15 AM and 6:15 PM classes will now run until 7:30, giving students more time to train and develop.
- Our Level 1 Basics class will now take place at 6:15 PM in our new outdoor training space.
These adjustments help us continue building a structured program while creating more opportunities for both new and experienced students.
Additional schedule updates will be announced soon on our website. We’ll also be expanding our kids program, including the introduction of a new program for our 10-14 kids , with more details coming soon.
