Golf season is about to get underway; the courses are greening and it's great to get back out in the fresh air with friends!

Dust those clubs off and get ready to play - Golf Madison Parks!

Golfers, it's time to shake off the cobwebs!

Golf Madison Parks will be opening for play Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday at noon; walking only.

You can also go online and pick up your discounted season passes at this time. Discounted passes are available through Saturday so don't dawdle!

Thinking about joining a golf league in 2026? The WMGA offers 9 and 18 hole leagues; both play on Tuesday mornings.

The 9 hole league plays alternate weeks at the Monona and Yahara courses and the 18 hole league alternates between the Yahara and Odana Hills courses. Both leagues welcome new players - Golf Madison Parks!

Make a resolution to play more golf this year, a resolution you will be happy to keep!

Our 2025 Club Champion was crowned at the annual meeting; congratulations to Peg Carlson, runner-up Wendy Benson and consolation winner Tam Flarup.

Also, congratulations to first flight champion Dawn Olson, runner-up Amy Scarr and consolation winner Barb Morton!

Another great day of golf for WMGA members playing at The Golf Course at Camelot in the Solheim Cup!

Congratulations to Sandra Latham and her partner who tied for 3rd gross and tied for 2nd net.

We mentioned that our members enjoy weekly league play with the WMGA. We also enjoy WSGA events. Many played in the Women's Scramble this year with several placing!

It's a wrap!

It was a beautiful day for the end of our 2025 season event, congratulations to the winning team of Laura Parman, Deb Diamond, Amy Scarr and Lori Bindl Zahorik and runners up Jane Krzos, Nancy Poole, Ann Schachte and Wendy Benson!

We also thank our retiring president Tam Flarup for her years of service and welcome incoming president Tina Parman!

Although the season has officially come to an end, we continue regular play and welcome golfers who might like to join our group for a round or two, or an entire season!

Several of our members played in the Public Links Tournament this weekend; the weather and camaraderie made the event truly enjoyable.

Throughout the season, WMGA members participate in many events in addition to regular league play.
