Every Tuesday and Thursday at the Midland Community Center, 6:30-7:30 p.m., come join SHiNE with Great Lakes Bay Girl and derby girls for some fun fitness! Everyone can do this, and it doesn't feel like you're actually working out. We would love to have y'all! 💃 💕

Happiest of birthdays to Nurse Hachet! Not only does she skate, but she also medics for many of our home games, sometimes even bringing her hubby along for the ride.
She truly is a menace (in the best way) on the track, and a great nurse off the track! We hope you give her a shout out and help us celebrate her!

Hey, the Chemical City Derby team is actively looking for more zebras (refs) to join us at the beginning of the season!!! It's a great way to be part of the team and community without the physical contact of the bouts (games). No experience is needed; we will teach you. Just bring a whistle, skates (which can be inline or quads😉), and pads!! Be part of a community that's uplifting, supportive, and fun to be with on and off the track!! Starting off this week in our summer break, we are giving a shoutout to our sponsors this year! Thank you for everything we surely couldn’t have done our season without you!!
Now we are not accepting sponsors as of right now but if your interested please keep your eyes on our page in upcoming season when sponsorships open again, or when skaters will come around asking!

If there happen to be chemical reactions all over, it's due to many of us being out and about doing derby and non-derby things to keep us ready for the upcoming season! 💪
Our coaches are helping out with API Fury- Lumbar, Hoochie, and Teddy.
Chaos did a kayak race. 🏁
Phenix, Fitch, Peño, and Jeeves all went to watch high-level derby at WFTDA Regionals in Lansing.
Don’t worry we will be back, bringing the action on the track, before you know it!! Keep your eye out for more ways and information on being part of the league- even if you don't want to do contact!!

We started this week and are done for the season, and are on summer break! We will be doing trail skates and signing up for scrimmages, but we won’t be back as a team until August!
As the weekend festivities get going, take a moment to remember those who have fallen and gave the ultimate sacrifice for us.
