FORGED IN FIRE. TESTED IN MILFORD.
Iron Plate Gym invites you to our biggest celebration of strength yet. It’s time for the 6th Annual RAW Classic!
You’ve done the work in the shadows; now it's time to shine under the lights. Join us on October 10th, 2026, at 1152 SR 131, Milford, Ohio for a showdown of raw power and relentless determination.
This event is the ultimate equalizer, leveling the playing field with a score based on weight lifted divided by bodyweight. Trophies and glory await the top lifters, but the real prize is the atmosphere, the community, and the thrill of the lift.
Don't miss the fun. Set the date, pack your gym bag, and get ready to leave it all on the platform.

If you spent any time in the past five years at Iron Plate Gym, you have undoubtedly met a legend. Lou Murphy was his name. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Lou talked to everyone and everyone loved him. He came to the gym to put the work in and he put others to shame with his stamina and the energy of a 30 year old.
Lou and his wife, Carolyn spent half the year in Fort Myers, Florida and half in the Cincinnati area. And he was every bit as active when he was walking the beaches as he was back in Ohio.
Carolyn shared with us that he loved his time at Iron Plate Gym. Sadly, he passed in May, 2025 at the age of 72 of Stage 4 colon cancer after moving permanently to Florida just ten months prior. Carolyn has asked us to tell everyone to get checked and added that Lou thought he was in good shape but didn't learn of his diagnosis until stage 4.
He was one of our biggest influences in our gym since we opened. The man was a legend. Rest in peace, Lou❤️
