🏴‍☠️ A mighty fine voyage for the Stone Temple Ice Pirates! 🥌

Missoula’s Stone Temple Ice Pirates set sail for the Twin Cities this past weekend to take on the Dakota Curling Club’s Pirate Spiel! 🪎

Before the battles commenced, our crew got their sea legs at the Chaska Curling Center, getting some valuable practice on dedicated ice 🦜

Then it was off to Lakeville for the spiel, where the Ice Pirates got off to a cracking start, winning their first-ever game together on dedicated ice! After entering the Boatswain (C) Bracket, they battled their way through to Sunday and all the way to the semifinals! 🧭

All told, the Missoula crew won half of their games in their first dedicated-ice bonspiel as a team, including some hard-fought victories over some formidable Midwestern shipmates! 🏴‍☠️

An excellent showing from our Ice Pirates — thanks to our hosts at Dakota Curling Club for a great weekend of currrrrling! ⚓️

🥌 THE HOUSES ARE IN! 🥌

Summer is officially over. The ice is coming. And the houses are down!
Last month, a crew of club members gave up one of their summer weekend mornings to get the houses installed inside at Glacier Ice Rink. Our team had the whole thing down to an exact science 📏📐

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and volunteered to get the rink ready for another season. We can’t wait to get some stones sliding into those houses soon! 🥌
