✨ A WHOLE DECADE ✨ Happy 10th Birthday to our business baby, Garage Barre + Bike 🩷 Ten years ago we woke up SUPER early, Kirby came over to my house and we got the garage all cute and pink and ready with coffee brewed, eager for 5 clients to come to our very first barre class. We dreamed up this business one night hanging out together stuck in an ice storm and wrote our vision of a super friendly, welcoming barre studio that wasn’t snobby and didn’t break the bank, and right in that moment, the curtain was about to raise and our hard work and creativity were about to be out there in the open. Would those clients like it? Would they come back? Would this last very long? Little did we know, 10 years later we’d have 68 classes per week, 28 staff members, 4 buildouts and thousands upon thousands of clients who have called GB home. The only better feeling than seeing your dream become reality is watching others catch on to your dream and run with it too. The two of us may have started this fire (some may call cult fitness studio 😂) but it’s the clients who believed and trusted in us & our talented instructors and staff members who have made it what it is today, a pink striped icon on the Murfreesboro square. It would’ve been safe & easy to throw in the towel when 5 days before opening we read a nasty FB post from another barre studio in town basically calling us “fake barre,” or a few months later when another barre studio in town called us “cheap and rowdy,” or when a mean neighbor started calling the cops every time we held class or when a global pandemic hit and closed up so many small businesses. But those are the exact moments that made us stronger, defined our branding, grew our business, and built our character. We knew we couldn’t give up when things got tough, we had a vision to continue to make fitness accessible to all body shapes, sizes & ages in a culture that cultivates community and that’s what still wakes us up in the morning each day ready to push forward this small business. Thank you to our insanely hard working staff for treating this baby like your own, thank you to all who have ever walked through the doors. LET’S PARTY!🎉

It’s almost our 10th birthday cake 🎂 and staying on true GB brand, we are celebrating cheap and rowdy prom style with a DJ, lots of b***y shaking dancing, a carnival food truck (hello corn dogs, fried Oreos & funnel cakes) and a dirty soda bar. 🩷 SPRING TONE UP CHALLENGE: 10th Birthday Edition 🩷

Before the bikes. Before the barre. Before the community we know today… there was a garage and 13 clients. We started our studio with a 6 week Spring Tone Up Challenge and we’ve decided to ring in our 10th Birthday bringing that exact same 6 week challenge back!

💕 Take 3 strength classes (Barre, Build or Bilates) and 3 cardio classes (Bike, Bounce or Beat) and one rest day per week from March 16 to April 26.

Having in class is always a mood lifter for everyone near her. She belts every single song, nailing the notes usually while sprinting on the bike. She motivates everyone near her by pushing herself more and more. She always looks super cute and put together, she is a fierce advocate for small businesses, she loves a good challenge - even taking 4 classes in one day to earn a tshirt 😂. We are so thankful she’s stepped foot into our little pink gym 2000 times, thankful for her support of our small businesses and we are immensely proud of this accomplishment!
