URGENT UPDATE: All Saturday match play has been postponed to Sunday, July 19th due to unsafe weather conditions.

The 2026 AVP League Week 6 event in Central Park is an outdoor beach volleyball event, and the AVP has been closely monitoring advanced weather forecasts indicating the potential for severe thunderstorms, damaging winds, heavy rainfall, and possible tornado warnings throughout the New York City area during Saturday’s scheduled competition.

In collaboration with local authorities, we have made the decision to postpone all Saturday, July 18 AVP League matches. All Saturday matches will now be played on Sunday, July 19, beginning at 8:00 a.m. ET., with doors opening at 7am ET.

All tickets purchased for Saturday, July 18 will be honored for the rescheduled matches on Sunday morning.

We appreciate your understanding and patience as we navigate these weather conditions to keep everyone safe this weekend. We hope you can join us on Sunday in Central Park for a full day of exciting AVP League competition. Please see the updated match schedule below:

For The Wimbledon Court in Central Park, the All England Club transformed Wollman Rink into an authentic, playable grass tennis court, bringing the spirit and traditions of Wimbledon to the heart of New York City.

We’re incredibly grateful to have hosted this special experience and to have been a part of the journey. From the action on the court to the Central Park and skyline views, it was a memorable celebration of tennis, community, and summer in New York.
