Our hearts are heavy today. 💔
We woke up this morning to heartbreaking news about the devastating fire in Old Town Newhall and the loss of several businesses that have been such an important part of our community — Newhall Refinery, Care Tucker Style House, The MAIN Theatre along Main Street.
It feels especially surreal for us because we were just at Newhall Refinery last night (My Yoga Canyon Country Lexy’s Revivals Living Vibrantly by Design ). We shared a meal and lots of laughs there, completely unaware that within hours, this beloved place and so many neighboring businesses would be facing such an unimaginable loss.
As a small, locally owned business ourselves, we know that these places are so much more than buildings. They represent years of hard work, sacrifice, dreams, friendships, memories, employees, families, and the courage it takes to build something of your own.
Our hearts go out to every business owner, employee, family, and friend affected by this tragedy. We are devastated for our neighbors and for the character and history that make Old Town Newhall so special.
And to the firefighters and first responders who have been working tirelessly today to battle the flames and protect the surrounding community — thank you. We are incredibly grateful for your courage and dedication. ❤️‍🔥
This is one of those moments that reminds us how important it is to support the small businesses that make our community what it is. When you shop local, eat local, take a class, see a show, or simply walk through these doors, you're supporting someone's dream.
