Norwood Day is only THREE days away!

We can’t wait to come together and celebrate Norwood and everything that makes our town such a special place.

If you haven’t picked up your Norwood Day button yet, there’s still time! Buttons are for sale at the Civic Center, Town Hall, Senior Center, and Library. Buttons will also be available for purchase on the day of the event.

We’re looking forward to another great Norwood Day. See you Saturday!

Hawes Pool is officially closed for the 2026 season!

We want to thank all of our residents for their patience and understanding, especially at the beginning of the season as we worked through some unexpected challenges. We truly appreciate your support and were happy to see so many people enjoying the pool once we were able to open for the summer.

A huge thank you to our lifeguards, pool tag checkers, pool maintenance staff, and Aquatics Director for all of their hard work throughout the season. We appreciate everything they did to keep Hawes Pool safe and clean.

While the pool is closed, there is still a little more summer left at the Splash Pad! The Splash Pad will remain open daily from 12:00 PM–5:00 PM through Friday, August 28th.

Thank you for a great season, and we’re already looking forward to next year!

Middle School Trip to Canobie Lake Park!

We are officially two weeks away from Norwood’s biggest event of the year!

Norwood Day is right around the corner, and we’re getting ready for another great day celebrating everything that makes our community so special. From live entertainment and activities to food, rides, games, trolley rides and plenty more, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

Make sure you grab your Norwood Day button and come out on Saturday, August 29 for a great day with friends, family and the Norwood community. We can’t wait to see everyone there!

Color Wars was an absolute blast this week. There were epic games of kickball, gaga ball and four corners. Shout out to our Counselors of the Week: Emma, Ally, John and Norah. Thank you to all of the amazing kids that have spent the last two months hanging out with us. It really was the best summer ever!
