Nothing better than having a hot drink while you watch the world fly by as the sun sets.
It's been a great week introducing The Backpacker and talking with pilots, builders, campers, and outdoor enthusiasts about a simple idea: every ounce should earn its place.
The Coastal Range Backpacker was designed for people who care about every ounce they carry:
9.2 oz complete cooking system
1.2 L pot that comfortably cooks for 2–3
Boils 0.5 L of water in 2.5 minutes
Packs small enough to disappear behind the seat
If you’re exploring the Fly-In Market today, stop by and see it for yourself.
☕ We’ll have fresh coffee brewing throughout the morning. Pick up the stove, see how everything nests together, and ask us anything.
John, the engineer behind The Backpacker, will be at the booth all day. If you’re curious about why it weighs just 9.2 oz, want to hear the story behind its design, or simply want to talk airplanes, camping, and good gear, come say hello.

To everyone who’s stopped by this week, thank you. Hearing your stories, talking airplanes and camping, and watching people discover The Backpacker has been the highlight of our first AirVenture. If today is your first day at the show, we hope you’ll stop in and say hello.
Adventure Better.
