The Small Block Super Championship Series is at Evans Mills Raceway Park tonight, with our SBS competitors racing 33 laps for $1,633 to win in memory of Ray Hedger.

🏁𝗥𝗔𝗬 𝗛𝗘𝗗𝗚𝗘𝗥 𝟯𝟯 𝗧𝗢𝗡𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 – 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗬 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗦!

Oswego Speedway would like to thank several businesses and supporters who have stepped up with special contingency awards for our SBS competitors racing in tonight’s 33-lap Ray Hedger Classic, part of the Small Block Super Championship Series at Evans Mills Raceway Park.

Downforce Shocks by Eagle One and owner Dave Surace have added $100 in bonus money, with $50 going to the driver recording the fastest overall heat race time and another $50 to the last car on the lead lap in tonight’s feature.

13th Hour Rising Haunted Hayride of Fulton, owned by Fred and Terrie Mellini, has also stepped up to support tonight’s heat races. Each heat winner will receive a prize package valued at approximately $120, including two complimentary passes to both the Dark Descent Hayride and Purgatory Passage Indoor Haunt, a 13th Hour Rising hat and a heat race winner keychain.

Debbie White has also generously offered a custom charcuterie board and $40 to tonight’s fourth-place finisher in memory of Tony White.

🚨 SEASON CAMPER NOTICE 🚨

Oswego Speedway asks that any season campers who have remained on the grounds past the original move-out deadline please plan to move out following this weekend.

Utilities will be turned off after the weekend, and we ask that all remaining campers be removed from the Speedway grounds by the middle of next week.

Thank you for your cooperation and for spending the 2026 season with us.

With the 2026 season in the books, Oswego Speedway is already hard at work making plans for 2027 – with all three weekly divisions returning, an expanded schedule in the works, facility improvements underway and more to come.

🚨 TIRE & FUEL PICKUP – SUNDAY

Oswego Speedway will have a tire and fuel pickup this Sunday, September 13 from 2 to 3 PM at the track for Supermodified and SBS teams competing at Evans Mills next weekend.

SBS tires, ISMA/MSS tires, and fuel for both classes will be available.

Sunday is the final day we will be able to access tires and fuel. If you need tires but cannot make it Sunday, please contact Steve Larkin or Mike Silliman in advance so they can pull them for you.

“It’s always fun when you get to run in traffic a little bit like we did. I just need to thank Munski Automotive and Ultimate QM, Dana’s Lawn Care, and the whole team. This car was about a half a car three weeks ago, and they worked their butts off.

I want to thank the team. I want to thank my family for letting me come out and do this every once in a while. I want to thank my brother and nephew for helping all weekend, my wife and my kids in the stands, and my Mom.

It’s been a roller coaster of a couple weeks, but this is good. I’m happy with a podium.”

“We caught up to lapped traffic and, my kid, he wasn’t paying attention to the passing flag. I wanted to win so bad, and I really don’t want to be mad at him, but I’m a little mad at him.

We had a great car. What can I say? I don’t think anybody had anything for us until we got to lapped traffic, and Mikey knew exactly how to play that game. He’s really good at what he does, so I guess when we get beat – that’s the guy.

“I think Cameron had the better car in the beginning. I was just trying not to burn up my tires. I knew it was a long race. I just tried to be patient. That was the most patient I've been in a race car. We saved tires the first part. He was better than me, and I knew when we caught lapped traffic, that's when I shine.

I was more sideways than I was straight trying to make the pass for the lead, but we got it done. I can't thank Robbie and Ryan Gunther, Jordan, and all the crew guys enough. They've been working their tails off on this SBS. We had Dave at practice with our shocks the other night rebuilding things.

This is a new-to-us car, the first time we ran it, and we put it in Victory Lane at the Classic. This is super cool. The tears are starting to flow. We've been racing SBS for a long time, and we haven't gotten a Classic ring, so this is really special.

Thanks to Scotty's Towing and Butler Disposal with the SBS program, and all of our 350 guys. I'm getting emotional. Classic wins are always big. It's so cool to get this one. It makes the first one a little easier to not have the 350 win, but boy, it would've been really neat to do the double.

Thanks to everybody – all our crew guys, all our sponsors, everyone that sponsors the weekend. We're going to celebrate here and have some fun.”

“I just got too tight towards the end, unfortunately. I was kind of a sitting duck. Really slow in the middle, but great drive at the end, even as hard as I pushed it. Just lost the right front, unfortunately, but you have to be perfect to beat the 7, and we were a little off today.

Thanks to TJ Toyota for all the effort they put in, RiverWalk of Oswego, Holiday Inn Express, and the families that pitch in. We gave it our best effort and came up one short."
