📢 Tire Pickup Reminder – Wednesday, August 5

A reminder to all ISMA/MSS Winged Supermodified teams, along with any Oswego County Tourism 350 Supermodified or Pathfinder Bank SBS teams that did not purchase tires for the July 18 event:

Tire pickup for the August 8 event will take place tomorrow from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at the Speedway tire trailer.

Please plan accordingly.

With Round 3 of 5 of the Oswego Super Challenge set for this Saturday, August 8, here's a look at the winners from every ISMA/MSS feature contested so far in 2026:

May 16 – Flamboro Speedway – TRENT STEPHENS

May 30 – Oswego Speedway – DAVE SHULLICK JR.

June 12 – Delaware Speedway – TYLER THOMPSON

June 13 – Lancaster Motorplex – MARK SAMMUT

June 26 – Berlin Raceway – TYLER SHULLICK

June 27 – Berlin Raceway (Great Lakes Classic) – MIKE MCVETTA

July 11 – Lake Erie Speedway – TYLER SHULLICK

July 25 – Jennerstown Speedway – TYLER SHULLICK

👀 There are some interesting storylines heading into Saturday night's 50-lap, $6,000-to-win feature.

Four of this year's winners on the tour – Trent Stephens, Dave Shullick Jr., Tyler Thompson, and Mark Sammut – are all former Oswego Speedway feature winners. Thompson owns multiple Novelis Supermodified victories at Oswego but is still chasing his first career Winged Supermodified win at the Steel Palace. Stephens and Sammut, meanwhile, have scored their Oswego victories only in Winged Supermodified competition. Shullick, of course, has enjoyed dozens of trips to victory lane in both Winged and Novelis Supermodified competition throughout his career.

Ironically, the drivers who have won the last four ISMA/MSS races and currently occupy the top two spots in the championship standings are still searching for their first career Oswego Supermodified feature victories.

Tyler Shullick, winner of three of the last four races, recorded a career-best third-place finish at Oswego earlier this season in May. While still seeking his first Supermodified victory at the Steel Palace, he is a former Pathfinder Bank SBS feature winner.

Mike McVetta, winner of the Great Lakes Classic at Berlin Raceway, has come agonizingly close to victory at Oswego with runner-up finishes in 2022 and 2025, and will be looking to finally break through on Saturday.

🏁 Round 3 of 5 of the Oswego Super Challenge takes place this Saturday, August 8, as the ISMA/MSS Winged Supermodifieds make their final appearance of the 2026 season at the Steel Palace. Approximately 28 Winged Supermodifieds are expected to fill the pit area, with every position critical as the championship battle tightens and the $25,000 Oswego Super Challenge point fund remains on the line.

Detailed Time Schedule for Saturday, August 8! 🕕 ⬇️

The largest Supermodified field of the 2026 season is expected this Saturday as Round 3 of 5 of the Oswego Super Challenge takes center stage!

Pit gates and windows open at 2:30 PM, followed by grandstands opening and warmups at 4:00 PM, time trials at 5:00 PM, and heat racing taking the green flag at 6:00 PM!

Following the Big Block Supermodified heat races, the 25-lap Oswego County Tourism 350 Supermodified feature will be run immediately. We will then go right into the ISMA/MSS/Oswego Novelis Supermodified consi.

The 2-Seat Supermodified rides and feature redraw will serve as the only intermission of the evening (approximately 20 minutes), before we head back into the final two feature events.

It's going to be a packed night of racing, featuring a star-studded lineup of Winged Supermodifieds. Start making your plans! 🏁

Our 2026 intermission ride experiences are officially sold out, but stay tuned for details on the return of our popular Ride with the Legends experience on Classic Saturday morning. More information will be announced soon!

The Empire Truck Show runs until 10:00 PM, so there’s still plenty of time to stop by.
