Welcome to the Facebook home of Oswego Speedway, a 5/8 mile semi-banked pavement racing oval & Home of the Supermodifieds

The Oswego Speedway, located in Oswego, NY, was built in 1951 when original owners Harry, George, and William Caruso converted the one time Wine Creek Horse Track into a 3/8 mile dirt auto racing facility. The track was paved during 1952 and remained a 3/8 mile track until 1961 when it was enlarged to its current 5/8 mile size. The Oswego Speedway has been a continuously run weekly race track sinc

🔊 Volume up! 10-time Oswego Speedway champion Otto Sitterly is back on track tonight with his Hawk Chassis and a new powerplant after an engine failure during practice for last weekend’s ISMA/MSS opener.

Despite the setback, Sitterly still has his sights set on supporting car owner John Nicotra’s Oswego Super Challenge effort. If he can win tomorrow’s Jim Shampine Memorial, he’ll have as many victories in that race alone as he does Oswego Supermodified championships –10. 👀

🔥 We’re happy to have Aric Iosue and the No. 11 team back with us as committed Novelis Supermodified competitors in 2026.

The sharp-looking No. 11, formerly the Jeff West-owned No. 1, is on hand for Fast Friday tail wing testing tonight as Iosue turns his first laps in Oswego trim after competing in last weekend’s ISMA/MSS Oswego Super Challenge opener.

🌦️ WEATHER UPDATE – ALL SYSTEMS GO FOR SATURDAY

Like all of you, we have been closely monitoring the weather situation all week. We’ve been in contact with meteorologists, reviewing multiple forecast models, and keeping a close eye on the latest radar trends.

At this time, we are moving forward with tomorrow’s event schedule as planned.

While there is rain in the forecast, current projections do not indicate a washout. We understand there may be some weather-related delays or challenges throughout the day, but based on the latest information available, we are committed to doing everything possible to complete the program tomorrow night.

Should the forecast or radar picture change significantly, we will keep everyone informed with updates as they become available.

For now, all systems are go, and we look forward to seeing everyone for the Jim Shampine and Tony White Memorials.

🤝 Digging the collaboration between Oswego Speedway and ISMA/MSS lately.

Defending ISMA/MSS champion Mike McVetta and runner-up Tyler Shullick are both expected to return to Oswego Speedway this weekend with the tail wing. Two more cars that spend most of their time racing with the top wing are also expected to join the field, while the John Colloca-owned No. 41, which competed with the wing last weekend with Dan Connors Jr. behind the wheel, will see defending Oswego County Tourism 350 Supermodified champion Kyle Perry get the nod on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Tyler Thompson has scored the seat in Vic Miller’s No. 11 to keep himself in contention for the Oswego Speedway track championship. The move also helps Vic Miller and Anthony Nocella stay in the hunt for John Nicotra’s Oswego Super Challenge.

Thanks to ISMA/MSS for the love. 🏁
