Some transformations can’t be measured by a scale. Stacy’s journey is a powerful reminder that Burn is so much more than a workout—it’s a community that lifts you up through every season of life. 🩵

Read her story below. ⬇️

“Burn brought me back to life. In 2020, in just 41 days, I lost my father—my best friend, mentor, colleague, and hero. Then COVID took away everything that had grounded me. My routine disappeared, my community vanished, and my family was grieving. I couldn’t fix any of it, and I spent almost three years isolated. Gone was the woman that truly loved life and people, to be replaced by someone who was constantly in fear, alone and felt like every day was a chore to survive. On the outside, I would smile and I would work and try to “fake it until I made it”. Inside, I was still suffering from nightmares, panic attacks and was merely existing, waiting for the next shoe to drop. I was slowly dying, and I knew it. But grief couldn’t take everything. My father had spent my entire life teaching me resilience, determination, and how to keep moving forward when life knocked me down. Even though I had lost him, I hadn’t lost the lessons he gave me. That small piece of him was still alive inside me, refusing to give up. So, when I knew I couldn’t keep living the way I was, I went looking for hope. I found it at Burn. When I came to Burn, the first thing I noticed was that they knew the names of all the members. Then, the high fives and the constant smiles. I felt like I was on the outside looking in, at this community. I remember thinking everyone looked the way I wanted to feel – happy and alive. For the first time in what felt like years, I laughed — really laughed. Healing didn’t happen overnight. I still struggled physically, emotionally, and mentally. Then one day, during an especially difficult workout, one of the trainers said, “Come on. You can do hard things.” I’ll never forget those words. They reminded me that if I wanted my life back, I had to fight for it.From that day on, I stopped just listening to the encouragement around me—I started believing it. It was always, “You ARE going to lift that.” …
