October Challenge: 2,500 Cal
🚣‍♀️🚲⛷🚣‍♀️🚲⛷🚣‍♀️🚲⛷ The goal is to accumulate 2,500 cal by the end of the month. This can be broken up however you want. Choose the Rower, Ski Erg, or Bike to rack up those calories! Workout Calories count!!

“Done is better than perfect.”

The idea isn’t to come up with the best workout routine, find the best diet, or create the best long term plan for yourself. It’s just about DOING it.

They say that the hardest part is just getting started. Once you get the ball rolling, the hard part is over.

It’s about showing up. 90% of the battle is won, when you just show up.

We see more, and things that are more distant, than they did. Not because our sight is superior, or because we are taller than they, but because they raise us up, and by their great stature add to ours. 🗿

It’s an evolution. And if you’ve been doing CrossFit for awhile, you’ve witnessed how much it has evolved since 2008.

Ring muscle-ups used to be a spectacle, and now they have become a staple.

Games champions of all ages spanning from teens to 60+ years of age.

CrossFit Gym’s starting in a garage to now facilities spanning over 40,000 square feet.

Each generation builds on the knowledge of the one before.

One thing is for sure, and that is CrossFit is here to stay. And it will continue to evolve. It’s what builds strong individuals. It’s what builds stronger communities. 🏘

You play how you practice, so practice well! 💪🏽

It pays off when you approach those near-rep max or 1-rep max weights. You may normally see the highlights, but beneath that are the repetitions and progressive training sessions spent dialing in movements that will ultimately be the difference between making that PR or not!

💥 Russian Swing Pro-Tip:

At the top of the swing, the kettlebell is weightless for a brief second and you can ease up on your grip.

This way you can save your grip for the rest of the workout that requires more of your hands. Just don’t let go completely 😬

💥Second Pro-Tip:

If you do Kettlebell swings frequently, you’ll get better at them 😉🤯. They’ll start to feel easier….eventually!
