Health | Hope | Community Sun Oaks, the finest full-service athletic club in Redding for over 60 years has it all! Sun Oaks has three pools for your enjoyment.

We are located on over 6 beautiful acres in east Redding. Our tennis program features a 3 full-time professionals, 7 outdoor courts and 3 indoor courts...... the only indoor courts in the north state. Throughout the year we offer numerous tournaments, social events, leagues and clinics for all ages ranging from juniors to adults. If tennis is your interest, Sun Oaks is the place for you. Our covered 8-lane, 25-yard pool is open and heated year round, our recreation pool is designed for summer play, and our toddler pool will keep your kids cool all summer long. We're also a complete health and fitness facility with a certified fitness staff; complete weight and cardiovascular equipment; and over 100 group fitness classes per week. Our certified personal trainers and group fitness instructors will help you see results and meet your goals whether in one on one or group sessions. We are a "family" club, with free childcare, children's recreation room, kids' fitness and planned activities throughout the year. Sun Oaks motto is "Kids are members too," meaning children are very important to us. We strive to provide healthy and challenging activities for kids of all ages. The competition is getting serious in Redding.

The Merrill Lynch Open Women’s Tournament at Sun Oaks brings talented women to the court for a tournament that showcases the caliber of competition happening right here in our community.

Redding has the facilities, the scenery, and the growing sports scene to attract athletes from far beyond the North State. And sun oaks is proud to be a part of that success!

It’s finals weekend at our annual USTA pro tennis tournament at Sun Oaks! 🎾 The Merrill Lynch $30,000 Women’s Open continues today with singles semifinals and the doubles championship! 🏆

Swipe for Saturday’s match schedule and our raffle prizes. Play begins at 3 PM on Court 3, with the second singles semifinal not before 6:15 PM, followed by the doubles final.

There’s still time to enter the raffle for a $525 Sun Oaks Wellness Spa Package, a full year of prime parking, or the 50/50 prize! Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20, with proceeds benefiting the Ascension Project. Winners will be drawn Sunday after the finals, and you don’t need to be present to win. ❤️

For $20, enjoy a pulled BBQ sandwich with all the fixings, potato salad, a cookie, and your choice of a b**r, glass of w**e, or soda. All dinner proceeds benefit Team Ascension's spam. ❤️
