Intermountain R/C Raceway is located in Salt Lake City, UT near the Oquirrah mountains just south of highway 21. For over 27 years, the Intermountain Raceway has been the premier indoor off-road track in Utah. Besides the indoor off-road dirt track, we also have a recently re-surfaced outdoor on-road track. We host regular competitions on both tracks all year long. We have a REAL indoor rock garden that can be changed at any time, great for 1.9 crawlers. Intermountain R/C Raceway is home to the second longest running Off-Road race in the country, The April Fools Classic (25th anniversary in 2013)
The April Fools Classic is one of the do not miss races in the country with top name drivers from around the country attending each year. In addition to the raceway, IRCR is a full-fledged hobby shop offering a large inventory of parts consistent with most retail hobby shops. If you can't find what you need we will gladly order it for you. We purchase from local and national distributors with a quick turn around, in some cases we can get your item the same day.

The Utah Off-Road State Championship is here at Rocky Mountain RC Raceway! We’ve got 50+ drivers and over 100 entries, with racers traveling from Utah, Idaho, Colorado, and Nevada to battle it out! 🏆

There’s some serious talent in the building, including Broc Champlin RC,Domnic Paccione, Blake Champlin RC, Rob Gillespie,Jason Luthman, Robert Gillespie Sr. Kobe Yonker and many more!

🏎️ Racing starts at 8 AM and runs ALL DAY!

Come stop by, check out the pits, and watch some of the fastest RC racers in the region go head-to-head. Spectators are welcome!

The Utah Off-Road State Championship is TOMORROW at Rocky Mountain RC Raceway, and registration has climbed to 53 drivers and 109 entries so far!

🔥 17.5 Stock 2WD leads the way with 19 entries
🔥 Modified 2WD — with 13
🔥 13.5 Stock 4WD — with 12
🔥 Three more classes already sitting at 10 entries!

The new layout is ready, the competition is stacked, and we’re looking at an awesome day of racing.

🏁 OVAL HITS THE NEW LAYOUT TONIGHT! 🏁

Tonight we find out what this new track can do. 👀

For the first time, the oval cars are hitting the brand-new layout — wide, flat lanes built for SPEED, clean passes, and side-by-side battles. 🔥

New track means new setups, new lines, and a completely blank leaderboard. Somebody tonight gets to set the benchmark everyone else has to chase.

Charge the batteries, get those oval cars ready, and come see just how fast this place is. 🏎️💨

⏰ Racing starts at 7 PM

First race. First fast laps. Who sets the number to beat? 🏁
