Part Two of answering your questions about the new Recreation Center.
One membership-related question that we received after recording the video has to do with leftover credit that people may have had with the previous Center. All members' accounts should have received either a refund or a voucher for future use. Those vouchers were mailed out last week. If you received one, you can bring it to the Sandy Parks and Recreation building (440 E 8680 S) to have it applied to your account.

Here is the pricing for our annual memberships, which go on sale Monday, Nov. 2. Get 20% off your membership during the month of November by using the code “SRC20” at checkout.

Answering your questions about the new Sandy Recreation Center.

If you’ve driven by the Rec Center construction site lately, you’ve probably noticed the large “SANDY” lettering that was recently installed on the west side of the building. This is one of our favorite features of the new build - the way the angled pieces of metal reflect light and cast their shadows at different angles throughout the day; how the triangular panels evoke the ridges and peaks of our beautiful Wasatch Mountains. And of course the word, Sandy, emphasizing that this new facility will be a treasure for all Sandy City residents to enjoy for decades to come.

With our annual membership sale starting next week and our grand opening coming up in December, we imagine you might have a lot of questions about the new Sandy Recreation Center. So drop your questions in the comments below and we'll answer as many of them as we can in an upcoming video.

Who’s ready to play some basketball? 🏀 Our gymnasium is actually starting to look like a gymnasium this week, as crews began installing six basketball standards. Next up: the hardwood!
