We recently had the chance to take Sandy Mayor Monica Zoltanski and other Sandy City staff members on a tour of our new recreation center. They were very impressed to see all the progress that has been made since their last tour, which is of course thanks to the hard work of Layton Construction and their subcontractors who are doing an amazing job! We're getting closer and closer to opening this place to the community and we couldn't be more excited!

Photos from this week's construction tour with Layton Construction. This week we were joined by Sandy City IT staff to go over the electrical plans. Aside from that, walls are getting painted, corners are being sanded, and windows are getting installed. Getting one step closer every day! 😁

Next week is our final session of MVP Minis of the summer! What is MVP Minis? Simple: you drop off your 3-5 year old at the Sandy Parks and Recreation Building at 8:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, where they'll have a blast doing arts and crafts, playing games, and making friends. Then you pick them up at 12:15 and hear about the amazing time they had. And at a price of only $20 per day, it's basically a summer cheat code that gives your child a great experience and frees up your mornings for a whole week.
