We have some exciting news!

We had the pleasure of hosting Monocle at our studio to talk about how our independent bike shop and we're now featured on their Entrepreneur's Podcast on Monocle Radio!

We talked a lot about how CBS is a highly-consultive fit-first retail space and this approach has brought our business the most success. The traditional bike shop with racks of inventory can't be found here and that's by design.

Sounds similar, right? WRONG! Bike fit and bike geometry are not the same thing and the confusion creates problems when purchasing a bike on your own.

Geometry decides how the bike handles and fit decides how your body works on top of it, but they can be used in tandem to get you the right ride for you. No two people are the same which is why we're are always a fit-first studio.

Husky alumni, this one's for you. We're partnering with Husky Cycling for a group ride on October 10th. It’ll be a morning out with old teammates, new ones, and anyone who loves riding in Seattle! We'll have bagels and coffee at the shop around 10:00 AM before we roll out at 10:30 AM.

Titanium, purple accents and a one-wheel trailer for his kiddo. Our fitter and sales team member, Joseph, just built this bike "with the intention of replacing it as a permanent cyclocross bicycle. It's the same geo and has similar geo and tire clearance, but with disc brakes and made of Ti. It stands out on it's own in my bicycle quiver."

We get asked a lot in the shop "what's your favorite rides around town?" So we put together a guide. It's an ever-growing list, all ridden regularly by the CBS crew, ranging from a quick 12-mile Magnolia loop, to a 55 mile gravel adventure, to a 60 mile loop that requires two ferry rides. Each route has distance, elevation, notes and recommendations, plus the Strava link so you can drop it into your bike computer. Take a look at the link in our bio!
