“I know more. I feel better in my body. I know my muscles because she taught me.” That’s the whole point of Tidal Yoga. It’s not follow-along fitness. I teach you to feel WHERE you should feel it — rep 1 vs rep 6. When you know that, you don’t need me forever. You take it with you. To your squats. Your walks. Your PT exercises. 🔥

So proud of AH for showing up and learning her body. This is what we do.
Where do you feel your body the most right now? Tell me below! ✨✨✨

My favorite part of being a teacher is when I can be a student.

At the end of September, I return to Blue Osa in Costa Rica, where I completed my 200-hour training. I have the honor of studying and practicing alongside the next group of Applied Yoga Anatomy + Muscle Activation teachers.

Over the last year, I have taught hundreds of hours. I have had some really amazing classes and some classes that were total stinkers. I have met hundreds of new people, made some incredible friends, built a studio, and created a community.

Most importantly, I have evolved from a vinyasa yoga teacher into a movement educator. I love analyzing how different muscles contribute to a movement and teaching you how to feel what’s happening in your own body.

Returning to study anatomy and vinyasa alongside my teacher is only the beginning of what comes next. There is some exciting news on the horizon for Tidal Yoga.

This isn’t a full circle moment. It’s a new arc.

Tidal will be closed while I’m away.

Final class: Saturday, September 19
Studio reopens: Monday, October 12
Classes resume: Wednesday, October 14

This week's Sculpt Menu:

The ab series ties deep core, 6-pack, and obliques together without any prolonged planks hurting your wrists and shoulders.

Lower body work stacks squats and lunges to keep the load in your glutes as the set builds, not shifting into quads or low back.

The arm series holds continuous tension across positions so the work stays in shoulders, chest, biceps, and triceps instead of dropping between movements.

Correct recruitment.
Correct load distribution.
That is what makes the workout effective.

Tonight 6:15p and Saturday 11a

May schedule is now live!

Learn where to focus your effort instead of just executing a choreographed sequence.

Every rep is set up and coached so you can feel the right muscles working. If it’s off, we adjust it immediately.

Better reps > more reps.
You don’t need more intensity. You need better recruitment.
