M Twirling Team

The NBTA Dance Twirl Team division is one of the things that first inspired Matt and Meredith to dream of creating a team together.

Each year at NBTA Nationals, two prestigious awards are presented in the Advanced Dance Twirl Team division: the Sandy Meyer Outstanding Choreography Award and the Michael Moore Artistic Award.

For the first time in M Twirling Team history, our program was honored to receive both awards in the same year for our Advanced Senior Dance Twirl Team, “Lady in Red.”

Every team routine that takes the floor is a true collaboration between Matt and Meredith. From selecting music and building a story to creating choreography that highlights each athlete’s strengths, every detail is something they pour their hearts into together.

These awards mean more than most people will ever know. Since the very beginning of M Twirling Team, they have worked to create routines that are different. Routines with meaningful music, memorable storytelling, and choreography designed specifically for the athletes performing them.

While this recognition was earned by this year’s incredible Lady in Red team, it also belongs to every twirler who has been part of M Twirling Team throughout the years. Each athlete has played a role in helping our program grow, pushing us to become better, and allowing us to create countless unforgettable routines along the way.

We’re excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2026 Fall Fest Competition hosted by M Twirling Team. This year’s competition will feature open, instate, visitor and team events, along with a comments only lane for Inspiration Cup events.
