Explore the Ten Plagues of Egypt from biblical, scientific and symbolic perspectives at the Strongsville Senior Center.

Instructor Ted Smith will examine the familiar events described in Exodus alongside possible natural and geological explanations. Participants will also discuss the symbolic meaning of each plague and how these events might be interpreted today.

Refresh your driving knowledge with the AARP Driver Safety Class at the Strongsville Senior Center.

Participants will review safe driving habits, rules of the road, changes in driving laws and local driving concerns. The course will also discuss ways to adjust driving habits in response to age-related physical and perceptual changes.

Explore your creativity in Classical Painting at the Strongsville Senior Center!

Instructor Joanne Richter will provide hands-on instruction in color theory, composition and glazing. All skill levels are welcome, and participants may work with acrylics, oils, watercolor or mixed media. Students must provide their own materials, and a palette list is available.

Discover your creative side in Beginners Drawing at the Strongsville Senior Center!

Instructor Mary Kenney will guide participants through blending, values and techniques for drawing animals, seascapes, landscapes and portraits. Students must provide their own materials, and a supply list is available at the Senior Center registration desk.
