Our answer is always a resounding “NO!” The brand, color, components, frame material, whether to ahop online or buy at a local shop, do you get new or used are all important variables to take into consideration when buying a bike but the #1 variable should be the size of the bike! We can make adjustments to your bike to make it fit better and feel more comfortable, but if you start off with the wrong size all together it is often impossible to make the bike work for you.

Pre-hydration also known as “preloading” can be a game changer for many athletes living in very hot climates or who have a high sweat rate. Preloading includes consuming a concentrated sodium drink the evening before and/or the morning of an event so that the body absorbs more water and allows you to get ahead of fluid loss and can also help with thermo regulation.

Commonly suggest:
- sodium concentration is 400-1200mg of sodium/500ml of fluid.
- One bottle the night before your event
- One bottle the morning of event (Protip: make it a slushy and the ice can help drop core temperature furthering your ability to manage heat)

We get to see some absolutely stunning bikes and this was a rare one. David and the crew at did an amazing job on the build and we were glad to hear that our prefit numbers were spot on allowing for an easier setup! After we made a few minor tweaks to seat position and cockpit setup the comfort was👌!
