On this week's episode of: What's in my gym bag?
This week we're featuring one of our weightlifters. You'll find her on one of the platforms (in the middle, on the left - or else), avoiding burpees at all costs, and pretending the accessory portion of her workout doesn't exist.
As one of our dedicated Olympic weightlifters, she's happiest when there's a heavy barbell overhead and a folding chair with her name on it for in between sets. It's never easy saying goodbye. One of the things that makes Red Eye so special is that it's more than just a gym, it's a community. The friendships built here go far beyond workouts, PRs, and time spent in the gym. Over the years, our members become part of each other's lives, and that starts to feel a lot like family.
Yesterday was Bethany's last workout with us as she's moving out of state. While we're sad to see her move on to her next adventure, we're grateful for the memories and the impact she's had on our community. ♥

🥦 Frozen Veggies – No chopping, steams in 4 minutes.
🍤 Quick Proteins: (Frozen shrimp, edamame, or turkey meatballs) – Thaws and heats instantly.
🍚 Grain Pouches: (90-second microwave rice) – Beats waiting 20 minutes for a rice cooker.

Our movement challenge may be over, but the impact is still showing up in our members' daily routines.
Over the course of 7 weeks, members found simple, realistic ways to move more throughout the day. Some started setting reminders in their calendars to get up and walk. Others turned TV time into walking time, found opportunities to move during their commute, or leaned on their teammates for accountability when motivation was low.
The best part? Many of these habits have stuck.
