Appreciate pro heavyweight Justin Stuart making the trip to come get some work in with us today. We got in some solid MMA rounds, plenty of wall wrestling and a lot of good looks for everybody in the room.

Always valuable having experienced fighters come through, bring a different style and help push the room forward. Appreciate the work Justin and hopefully we can get plenty more rounds together soon.

Justin is back in action December 12 at Ignite Fights 115 at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, Minnesota.

Chuy Silva is back in action November 28 representing Eris MMA at North Iowa Fights 24.

Chuy enters this matchup looking to improve his record to 3-1, while Kade Hambly brings a strong wrestling background and will be looking to pick up his first win.

This should be a tough test for both athletes and a good matchup of styles.

Great room tonight

Worked our double leg against the cage, leg shelf control, wrist rides and ground and pound before finishing with positional wall rounds and MMA sparring.

Good mix of newer guys and experienced guys in the room and everybody helping each other improve. That’s the kind of growth we want to keep building.

Tonight we worked escaping mount into half guard, building back to our feet, then finished with positional rounds and some good free rolling.

Coaching is more than teaching someone how to fight.

It’s watching the hours they put in when nobody is watching. It’s pushing them when they need pushed, building them back up when they need it, and standing beside them when it’s finally time to put all that work to the test.

You don’t get to step in there and do it for them. All you can do is prepare them the best you can, trust the work, and be there in their corner.

Win or lose, we learn, we grow, and we get better together. 💚💛

Kameron Luethje made his kickboxing debut tonight in Fort Dodge and went the distance in a hard fought battle against a much more experienced opponent.

We thought he did enough to get the decision, but the judges saw it differently. Either way, we’re proud of the work he put into this camp and the way he represented Eris MMA.

Every fight gives us something to learn from. Back to the gym, back to work, and on to the next one. 💚💛
