Backstage dads: posted up like it’s a vacation until it’s time to carry props, move sets, load cars, fix costumes, and save the day. 😂

Just kidding! It really takes a village, and our dance dads WORK hard too.

As we head into recital week, we’re celebrating all of the parents behind the scenes making the magic happen. From quick changes to late-night rehearsals, snack runs, pep talks, flower pickups, prop loading, and everything in between: thank you for showing up for your dancers and for us.

Recital week is almost here and every detail matters.

Lighting is such a huge part of storytelling on stage. We didn’t want this show to simply be dances back to back but we wanted each piece to feel intentional, cinematic, and alive.

We created a lighting template and carefully went through every single dance creating mood lighting, time stamps, spotlight moments, transitions, and visual textures to match the vision and emotion of each piece. From the music, to the movement, to the lights, every detail matters.

Because recital isn’t “just a show” to us.
It’s our statement to the world.
