🥋 FROM PROUD DAD TO FUTURE BLACK BELT! 🥋
Some journeys begin in the most unexpected ways, and Ruan De Witt’s journey is one that makes me incredibly proud. ❤️
Ruan first walked into Bulpae Taekwon-Do Academy as a dad, watching and supporting his little 3 year old daughter, as she began learning Taekwon-Do. Somewhere along the way, he decided to step onto the mats himself, and what a blessing that decision has been for our dojang!
Ruan is always willing to learn, always ready to lend a helping hand, and brings such amazing energy to everyone around him. He is an outstanding role model for our male students, showing that Taekwon-Do is not just about kicks, punches and patterns, but about character, service, humility and growth.
His journey has grown far beyond the dojang. Ruan has joined the ITFSA Executive Board, serving as our Health and Safety Officer, WADA Officer and IITA Director. His passion for helping others, especially his dedication to supporting and developing our special needs students, is truly priceless. ❤️
Ruan, as you prepare to take the next step towards your Black Belt, I want you to know how honoured I am to have you in our dojang and the difference you make in our Taekwon-Do family. You remind us that a Black Belt is not simply something we earn around our waist, but something we build within ourselves through dedication, humility, perseverance and service to others.
From supporting your little girl to preparing for your own Black Belt, your journey is a beautiful example of how Taekwon-Do can change lives and bring out the very best in us.
May God continue to guide your steps, strengthen you through every challenge, and bless you as you take on this next chapter. 🙏
