"From More to Better: How Our Ideas of Prosperity Are Changing" (Vom Mehr zum Besser: Wie sich unsere Vorstellungen von Wohlstand verändern) - my German language article for the autumn edition of the SOL Magazin has just been published.
This short writing is a plea for a change in our mindset, in our mainstream culture and in our economic system. It is written for the general (but open-minded) public, in a compressed manner. I hope I did not oversimplify these ideas... it is such a challenge for me! I think it is important to reach people who are outside of the academic field or activist groups. We can all try and add some bits of the whole mosaics - it is a bit of an experiment, we never really know the impact I guess. What do you think?
For those, who prefer greater depth and complexity: the book "Sustainable Hedonism. A Thriving Life That Does Not Cost the Earth" has hundreds of pages on these issues, based on decades of reading, learning and own research. Available in English, German and Hungarian. (I will put the links in comments.)
Based on these ideas, I held a great workshop on the SOL Symposium in Wiener Neustadt, combining theory and embodied experiential learning. I enjoyed so much the open-minded and playful participants - it was fun. I find it a clearly meaningful and joyful way of learning and exploring new ideas.
