Another week, another Assistance Dog delivery! 🐾
Last week gorgeous 'Malley' was placed with his eagerly awaiting recipient, officially beginning his role as a Diabetic Alert Dog. 🧡
Malley will now support his recipient by alerting to both high and low Blood Glucose Levels (BLGs). Malley has also learned three lifesaving tasks: retrieving the hypo kit, using the 'get help' command, and pressing the emergency button.
Malley was proudly sponsored by Lions Club of Dunsborough, who named him and followed his journey from a tiny pup all the way through his full time training. We hope Malley has made them proud, and that they’ve enjoyed watching him grow into the incredible Assistance Dog he is today. 🦁
We would also like to thank Malley’s devoted puppy carers, the Tydeman
family who helped raise him into the confident, eager-to-learn dog he is today. Their love, support, early training - and of course, plenty of treats - gave Malley the best possible start on his path to becoming a life-changing Assistance Dog. 💙
