When Kindness matters.
Karen, a lovely member of our community saw Alan, a member of the Lions Club of Paralowie in uniform having coffee at Hollywood Plaza she approached him ask if he had any need of home made blankets. Alan explained that donation of blankets are given to the Salisbury Uniting Church for their Uniting care program for distribution. So today Karen caught up and handed over these beautiful blankets. So Karen thank you. Your kindness shows and is truly appreciated by those in need.

On Friday 29th of May, we’ll be celebrating the newly renovated Woolworths with a free community sausage sizzle hosted by the Lions Club of Paralowie Inc

Join us from 10am–12pm near the new mall entrance for a free sausage sizzle, while stocks last. Woolworths will also be giving away prizes throughout the day as part of the celebrations.

We’d love for the community to come down, enjoy the atmosphere and help us celebrate this exciting new chapter for Hollywood Plaza.

Lions Assistance Dogs is proud to be attending the 2026 Lions MD Convention this weekend. 🦁🐾

We’re looking forward to connecting with Lions from across the country and beyond, sharing more about our work, and showcasing the incredible impact Assistance Dogs are making in our community.

Across the weekend, our team will be hosting a series of interactive workshops and demonstrations, offering a closer look at how our dogs are trained and the life-changing work they do every day.

You’ll also find our stall in the Goyder South Pavilion throughout the Convention.

Lions convention 2026. Our members are learning about Lions current projects and services that are being provided for our community. Skills being learnt. Projects being assisted. Eg. Making of toiletry bags, toys for hearing dogs, comfort items for those in need. Interesting talks and focus groups and more.
