🌊 WATER WARRIORS | Wayne McKewen 💙
The man who refused to let the waves stop... and made sure they never would for anyone else!
Some people change their own lives.
Others change the lives of thousands.
Wayne McKewen is one of those people. 💙
As a young Australian surfing champion, Wayne's future was bright... until 1979, when he suddenly lost control of his body during a national surfing final.
Diagnosed with transverse myelitis, Wayne was told he'd be lucky to walk again, let alone surf.
But Wayne refused to give up.
Within a year, he was back competing on the world stage! 🌊
That frightening experience never left him.
Years later, while volunteering at disabled surfing days, Wayne saw people absolutely LOVING the ocean... but the surfboards weren't designed for their needs.
People were slipping off, being thrown forward and missing out on the freedom and joy that surfing should bring.
Wayne knew there had to be a better way.
After FOUR YEARS of designing, testing and refining, the LIFECRAFT was born! 💙
Not just a surfboard...
A purpose-built craft designed to make surfing more accessible, supportive and enjoyable for people of all abilities.
Wayne didn't just create a surf craft.
He created OPPORTUNITY.
He created CONFIDENCE.
He created BELONGING.
And he helped make the ocean accessible to people who may never have imagined themselves riding a wave.
At All In Aqua, we are incredibly fortunate to share Wayne's Lifecraft with our amazing participants.

All made possible because one incredible human refused to accept that it couldn't be done. 💙
