Another strong result for the Midweek Senior Pennants team, who hosted Indooroopilly yesterday. The side continued its excellent form, recording a convincing 6–1 win.

Next up, we host Nudgee, giving us the opportunity to square the ledger after suffering a loss to Nudgee in the earlier away fixture.

Today, Gailes Golf Club proudly hosted the first round of the BDLGA Ladies Friday Silver Pennant.

Congratulations to our women, who started the season strong with a tough 4 & 3 win over Oxley GC! 👏⛳

Midweek Senior Pennant – First Home Game Win!🏌️‍♂️

A great win for our Midweek Senior Pennant Team yesterday against Ashgrove in their first home game of the season, an impressive 6–1 victory despite periods of heavy showers and strong winds.

The team also proudly wore black armbands in tribute to Andy Sunley.

🏆 Western Gailes Trophy – Handicap Match Play Championship Final 🏆

Congratulations to Helen Selff, who has claimed the Western Gailes Trophy with an outstanding performance in today’s final.

After qualifying as the #1 seed, Helen progressed through the matchplay field and went on to defeat Michael Harrop in the final with a 4 & 3 victory, securing the championship title.

Well played to both finalists on a fantastic tournament! 👏⛳

🎉Congratulations to Kathie Kibsgaard on an incredible hole-in-one today on the 3rd hole – a 123m Par 3! ⛳️

Kathie hit her 5 rescue and struck gold… without even watching it go in! 😄 She only found out after her playing partners mentioned, 'I think that's in the hole".

This marks Kathie’s 3rd hole-in-one overall, her 2nd one here at Gailes 👏👏
