With our women’s season kicking off very soon, we wanted to give a shoutout and update on what some of our ⭐️ players have been doing in the ‘off-season’ 🙃

Our very own, Caitlin Grange (caitlin grange ), recently competed in the 2026 WFDF World Ultimate Club Championships (WFDF WUCC 2026 ) in Limerick, Ireland, last month with Ellipsis Ultimate 💚

If you’re after some inspiration to get your pre-season training started, here’s what Caitlin had to say about her recent campaign with the Ellipsis women’s team, who placed 9th overall in the world:

“It was a privilege to play with Ellipsis at WUCC for the second time, and to represent them internationally for the third time. They’ve given me so many incredible experiences on and off the field.

This campaign the pretour was a real highlight. We started in London where we had a 2 day tournament against a few European teams. And then travelled to Ireland where we stayed in a lodge by a fjord in Galway, getting some rest and recovery and team bonding in before WUCC.

We then made our way to Limerick for the tournament, where we placed 9th. I always love getting to compete against so many different play styles and elite players I’ve never matched up against before.”

Welcome to the beginning of our 2026/2027 season!

After a few months of planning, we are finally here 🥰

Factory Ultimate are looking to continue to expand our community in women's Ultimate in the ACT again this season.

Building on the success of last year's Masters team (🥉), we will again be hoping to send one Division 1 team and two Division 2 teams to the 2027 Australian Ultimate Championships in April 2027, with a Masters and Open-age team split.

With the aim to support the development of our young(er) players, and the continual support of our mature-aged players, selections will be held earlier this season - due to the extended mixed Ultimate season - with some changes to the selection process.

We’re getting it done earlier this season, with the extended mixed season ending in November.

Jot these dates down in your calendars if you’re interested in attending selections, and playing with Factory Ultimate this upcoming season!

Factory Ultimate is seeking to fill 3 vacant General Member positions for the upcoming 2026/2027 season.

Let’s go, Ariel!!! 👩‍✈️

"Our fearless leader, Ariel, is the driving force behind our team both on and off the field. While she is one of the nicest people we’ve met she is also not to be messed with. When she’s not playing or coaching frisbee she’s doing Muay Thai, getting her PhD and being a mother. Her motherly energy creates an inclusive environment in which we can all grow both as players and as people. On top of it all she is hilarious and always has us all laughing but don’t let the jokes fool you; she’s always locked in. She brings incredible knowledge, dedication, and care to everything she does and we could not be prouder to call her our coach."

The Best Physio to have in your corner 🦿

"Marine might have a prickly exterior but she will always take care of you and make sure you’re in peak condition to play. She makes sure we don’t die and puts up (to a point) with all of our whining about stretching and rolling. Behind the tough love is someone who’s incredibly patient, kind and supportive. Not only is she our Australian team physio, but she’s also represented Australia herself, bringing a bunch of experience and passion that shows in everything she does for the team. We couldn’t ask for a better physio."

I wanted to try a new sport one winter and found frisbee through the local social league!

What are you most excited about for WJUC?
I'm so proud of this team and looking forward to cheering them on from home.

Teammate Introduction:
Don't be fooled by her name — Pip is one of the most determined and driven players I have ever met. She puts everything she has into improving and has shown heaps of growth throughout the campaign because of it. She's also someone who's always easy to have a chat to, bringing positive energy and supporting everyone around her. On the field she runs hard for everything and gives it her all.
