As we celebrate Reconciliation Round this week, Old Canberran’s Hockey Club proudly acknowledges the Ngunnawal people, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we train, play, and come together as a hockey community. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the Hockey community.

In our 90th year as a club, we recognise the importance of reflecting on our shared history and the role sport can play in bringing people together through respect, understanding, and community. Reconciliation is about listening, learning, and walking forward together, acknowledging the past while continuing to build a more inclusive and connected future for everyone.

At OCHC, we are proud to stand alongside the hockey community in recognising and celebrating the rich cultures, stories, and contributions of First Nations peoples. 🖤💛❤️

🚨 OCHC Fee Reminder 🚨

A friendly reminder to all current players that club fees are now due.

Paying your fees on time is incredibly important in helping Old Canberran’s Hockey Club continue to operate smoothly throughout the season. Fee payments allow OCHC to meet our financial commitments to Hockey ACT, cover competition costs, and ensure our teams can continue taking the field each week.

Unfortunately, if fees remain unpaid and no payment arrangements have been made, players may be unable to continue taking the field, which can significantly impact team numbers and game participation across the club.

We understand that circumstances can vary, so if you are experiencing difficulties with payment, please reach out to the treasurer and your team manager confidentially to discuss support or payment plan options.
