VENUE CHANGE - 12&U Boys Football (Soccer) Trial 1

Due to the shutdown of sportsgrounds this weekend the 12&U Boys Football (Soccer) Trial 1 will be moved from Wanniassa and will now be held at Nicholls 1.

Nicholls 1 are the synthetic pitches behind Gold creek and Holy Spirit Primary School off of Kelleway Avenue.

Trial 1 is as follows:

Sunday 7th June 3:00pm - 5:00pm

The first trial will be for Under 12 and Under 13 (Overage players).

Under 11 players will not attend this trial but will attend the second and third trials.

Team officials will be sending out an email this afternoon to all registered participants explaining the trial information.

The selection trials for the 12&U Girls Cricket State Teams are now open for registration

Time - Monday 22 June, 6:30-7:30PM

10-19 Years Cross Country State Team Selections 🏃

The selection trials for the 10-19 Years Cross Country State Team are now open for registration

12&U and 13&O ACT Cross Country Championships

Time: Friday 12 June, 9:00AM-3:00PM
Location: Stromlo Forest Park

Students must be turning 10-12 years of age or 13-19 years of age by 31 December 2026, depending on the team they wish to be selected for.

This event is used as a selection mechanism for 2026 School Sport Australia Championships, for more information please go to the School Sport ACT website.

Due to the weather, all ACT grounds are closed today, there for our trial this afternoon will be canceled. With the forecast for the remainder of the week Tram Officials have made the decision not to reschedule the third trial.

The South/Weston Region Cross Country Carnival will be going ahead as Stromlo is an all weather track.

Please ensure students come prepared for wet weather conditions.

Combined Secondary Cross Country Carnival Wednesday 27/05/2026

Good afternoon all, the combined secondary cross country carnival will still be going ahead tomorrow, although the running track will more than likely be unusable we will still continue on the cycling track. The picture above shows the course outline and for the full program you can find it on our website.

Message to parents, because we are using the Cycling track parking spaces will be limited, we recommend carpooling or dropping your child off at the top of the concourse to avoid traffic congestion.

While we are not expecting rain tomorrow we still recommend students wear appropriate clothing to suit the conditions.

SSA 18&U Softball Championships 🥎

Good luck and best wishes to our 18&U Softball Teams competing at the School Sport Australia Softball Championship in Blacktown, New South Wales this week!!

Thank you to our Team Officials Emma Housden, Deb Sayers, Clare Small, and Adrian Dart for all of their efforts in preparing the team for the upcoming Championships.
