All side selections completed for this week's round three of Intra-club mixed pennants

The 2026 official seasons opening day, The Ian Thomas sponsored Patrons mixed fours saw 56 compete on a slick green in absolute ideal bowling conditions.
Four of the fourteen combinations competing completed the day undefeated with the quality of bowls on display at the highest level, by the looks the 2026/27 clubs championship events will be well contested.
The traditional opening Spiders saw Neil Exten and Fiona Panting take the sponsors prized with the video of the event attracting a huge response on Facebook (at last look over 6000 views)

The 2026 season opening Mens Drawn Pairs sponsored by Geraldton Toyota saw five sides complete the two game afternoon event in conditions that can only be described as ideal.
The greens were presented in top class conditions with both averaging a steady 15 seconds making for players to compete and play with absolute confidence
The eighteen strong field saw five pairing retain undefeated status with the top two place getters clearly the cream of the crop on a very competitive start to the new season.
Peter Ireson and Colin Morgan reigned supreme in the seasons first competition with a quality plus 26 shots with the equaling impressive Dave Hunt and John Burnett a clear second with a return of plus 16.
Derek Parsons and Kevin Robartson claimed third on a count back from Joe Criddle and Rolf Schreyvogel with the unlucky duo of Chris Caldwell and Barry Chester finishing just shy of the podium despite claiming two wins.
A huge thanks to the sponsors, Geraldton Toyota and Zane Clarke who was on hand to present the prizes. The Geraldton Bowling Club is most appreciative of you local and long standing support.
