Exciting news!

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Stephanie has been offered a place at the prestigious Alegria Dance Studios in Sydney and will begin their full time classical dance course in 2027! 🩰✨

This is the most wonderful opportunity and achievement and a testament to Stephanie’s hard work, dedication and passion over many years.

We will miss Stephanie dearly, but we are so very happy for her and can’t wait to follow this next chapter. Congratulations, Stephanie! 💛

A very special mention and congratulations to Seraphina! 🩰

Poor Seraphina dislocated her patella in the middle of her RAD exam. We waited nearly two hours for an ambulance, and she was absolutely amazing. She coped so well with the pain and showed real strength and courage.

Her exam group had to wait to finish after all the drama, and it was very a stressful time for every student involved, both in the exam room and in the waiting room for the subsequent groups. I’m so proud of how everyone handled it.

The best news is that Seraphina still passed her exam! She had done so well in the first part that she had already shown what she could do. Huge congratulations, Seraphina. We are all so proud of you! 👏

A huge thank you to our RAD examiner for being so supportive, and to Annabelle and Chloe for stepping in to help with everything that was going on 🩷

We have just received our RAD exam results and we are absolutely thrilled! 🩰

Every single one of our students achieved excellent marks, and we could not be prouder. These results are proof that hard work and consistency really pay off.

Congratulations to all our dancers, from our Pre-Primaries right through to our Advanced students. You should all be so proud of yourselves.

A special mention to Stephanie, who took on the challenge of sitting two vocational exams this year and received a High Distinction in both. This is an amazing achievement and a testament to her hard work and dedication. Well done, Stephanie!

Thank you also to Susan Hill for her special exam coaching this year. We appreciate it so much.

Congratulations again to all our students! 💖

As we near the end of term I just wanted to give a huge thanks to Chloe, Annabelle, Paola and Camilla 💛

Your help in the lead up to exams and on the days themselves meant the world to me. Calm, kind and so organised. I am so extremely grateful to be surrounded by such wonderful support.

Thank you! 💐

Huge congratulations to our three dancers who competed in the RAD Joan Burnett Awards in Launceston today! Such a high standard of ballet from right across the state, and huge congrats to all the competitors over the day.

We are thrilled for Maye, who was the winner of the Intermediate level! Abbey was a very deserving recipient of the Encouragement Award at the Advanced level, and we are so very proud of such a beautiful performance by Stephanie, who was awarded runner up in a very competitive Advanced section.

What a wonderful opportunity for our dancers. Thank you for making it possible. 🩰

🩰 What a fabulous day at the Susan Sargison RAD Grade Awards!

Barbara Todd Ballet had so many students take to the stage in Launceston today, and we could not be prouder of every single one of them. Huge congratulations to our 9 students who made it through to the finals this year, that is an wonderful achievement.

And a very special congratulations to Eden, Arwen, Audrey and Zara, who were awarded prizes today. Well done, girls, you should be so proud!

To every student who stepped on that stage today, thank you for taking on the challenge. Competing is never easy, and each of you should walk away proud of what you achieved.

Thank you to Susan Sargison for your generous sponsorship and to Royal Academy of Dance Australia for your organisation of these awards.

And to our wonderful parents, thank you for making the drive to Launceston and giving your children this opportunity. None of this happens without your support.

What a day. 🌟
