Attention all players and parents!

With the 2026/27 cricket season fast approaching, we encourage everyone to register as soon as possible to secure your spot. Numbers are looking strong across our junior teams and spots are filling fast, so please don’t leave it too late!

It’s been fantastic to see such encouraging numbers at our Junior Winter Preseason sessions. We have one final Cutting Edge session remaining:

Everyone is welcome to come along to this session, including newcomers! Even if you’re not sure about playing yet and simply want to come down, have a look and see what Hurstbridge Junior Cricket Club is all about, we’d love to have you there. It’s a great opportunity to meet some of our players and coaches and get a feel for the club.

This will be our final indoor preseason session before we head outside and commence regular training in preparation for the season.

We’re also pleased to have most of our coaches already locked in across our junior grades, and there’s plenty of excitement building around the club.

We’re pumped to welcome three new recruits to Hurstbridge CC for the 2026/27 season!

Navtej “Nav” Singh – a classy batting allrounder with plenty of skill, joining us from Keon Park CC.

Gurpreet “Gary” Hans – a tall, fast-bowling allrounder, also joining us from Keon Park CC.

Jagzaheen “Zaheen” Singh – a powerful wicketkeeper-batsman joining us from Merrifield CC.

All three boys come to HCC with an existing relationship with our new Head Coach Abhi, and we’re excited to see what they can bring to the club!

🔒 SANJEE IS BACK FOR SEASON 26/27 🔒

We know you’ve all been waiting for this one. We’re absolutely pumped to confirm that Thissa Bandara has recommitted to Hurstbridge Cricket Club for season 2026/27 💙🤍

Sanjee is coming off a huge 25/26 season, finishing with 436 runs and 25 wickets, earning himself a well-deserved spot in the Mash Shield Team of the Year. 🏏🔥

Since arriving at the club in 2021, Sanj has become a fan favourite both on and off the field. A gun top-order bat and one of the most versatile bowlers in the comp, he’s a genuine match winner and one of the most complete players in the competition, we’re incredibly lucky to have him back for another season.

🚨🚨🚨 HCC Apparel Update 🚨🚨🚨

Hi everyone,

Dan Bloomfield has taken over the apparel role for HCC this season. If you have any questions or need help with anything clothing-related, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

With the season fast approaching, we need to submit our first apparel order by Friday 14 August. Unfortunately, this deadline has been brought forward and is outside of our control, so please get your orders in as soon as possible. We will be opening the shop again for another order towards the end of 2026.

A few reminders:
• The club uniform has not changed from last season.
• This is a great opportunity to replace any worn or damaged gear or freshen up your kit.
• If you're ordering a new One Day shirt, please make sure you use the same playing number you had last season.
• All orders need to be paid in full at time of the order (No club tabs or club pay back later)

We’re excited to announce that Jacob Carruthers has recommitted with Hurstbridge Cricket Club for the 2026/27 season! 🔵⚪

Since joining the club two seasons ago, Jacob has been a standout performer, scoring 1,030 runs and taking 33 wickets in those two seasons, while also making a huge contribution off the field as a coach and mentor to our Women’s team and younger players.

A quality person and an even better clubman, we’re thrilled to have Jacob back in the blue and white for another season.
