With rain forecast just about everywhere today, finding suitable spots for our Blue Sign Hiking Society's latest adventure took some doing.
But, it all worked, beautifully!
A road trip produced some great moments at Freycinet and Bicheno, which added to everyone's knowledge of offerings on the east coast.
If you're up for hiking adventures that has you, and the weather, at front of mind, message us to start a chat, or check out our website.

For a short working week, there was a bit packed in!
Plenty of folks were out walking, wheeling and working out in the first full week of Winter, with no signs of slowing down!
If you'd like to keep moving during the colder months but need some encouragement, come hang out with us! Message is here, or check out www.ascentfitness.com.au

A weekend of exploring new adventures for our hiking group has reaped great rewards!
The Tasman Peninsula turned on the weather and the rest looked after itself. From steep, off track climbs, to sensational fungi hunts, the boxes for winter walks were ticked.

The first week of Tassie's Winter was seen through with great efforts from AF Peeps!
Walking, Wheeling and Working Out featured heavily, and neither cold, nor damp held them back!
If the Winter Blues are kicking in, and you want to keep being active, we have the solution! Message us here or check out www.ascentfitness.com.au

A top spot of weather at Coles Bay, on the last day of Autumn, was not to be passed up!
The Hazards Circuit is a great stroll in good weather. Heading in the direction of Hazards Beach leaves the 1,000 steps up to the Wineglass Bay Lookout as the big finish.
If you're after good days out in great company, our very own Blue Sign Hiking Society can do that! Check out the link for more info.

As Autumn draws to a close - one of the warmest on record - AF Peeps marked the occasion in the best way possible: walking, wheeling and working out!
And, with Winter predicted to be the hottest on record in the Tamar Valley, maybe the doonah won't be as heavy in the morning!
If you need some encouragement to keep on the move during the shorter days, we are here for it! Message us here, or check out www.ascentfitness.com.au

It's been 5 years (what?!) since Derrick Jonas became the first Wheelie to complete the 95km course and the story went public.
Scroll forward to now, the LUFT for Wheels has grown by 5km and our first Wheelie, Unbeaten Ethan, has completed the updated circuit, with Matt the Machine on course to finish this year.
If you, or someone you know, uses a manual wheelchair, we will accompany them around the LUFT for Wheels. They will go to new places and become more independent by getting fitter, stronger and having better wheel skills.

With Tassie's weather doing Tassie weather things, a day out took a different turn today.
Spotting stable weather, southwest of Mole Creek, we hit the road with no particular destination in mind. All in all, a great day exploring new places!

Did you know that on Wednesdays in Launceston, between 6pm and 7pm, it only rains about twice a year?
Even with today's welcome rain, there was a 60-minute gap - bookended by rain - for our Hills and Thrills walking group.
And, from high up in Trevallyn, the views were spectacular!

Sunday offered a narrow window of decent weather and we shot through like a Bondi Tram!
Mt Blackwood, soaring above the Poatina Power Station, offers a spirited climb and fantastic views of the Northern Midlands, across to St Marys.
If getting out more is something that would give you a boost, you should do that! And, we can help in all sorts of ways.
