VIC TRI AWARDS
Last weekend, our President Jarrod McPherson and Coach Sean Foster represented the Club at the VIC Triathlon awards at MSAC.

We came away with 2nd place Club in the State Tri Series and Foz won the Coach of the Year Award.

Great morning repping MTC and catching up with other Club reps, coaches and administrators.

Triathlon Australia offer a free trial with affiliated Triathlon Clubs so you can try out our great sport in a fun supportive Club environment.
We of course encourage you to join us, the 2nd oldest Tri Club in Australia, we offer weekly coached sessions, social events and race day tent support at all major Melbourne races.

WEEKEND CLUB TRAINING
SATURDAY 25TH APRIL
Meeting at Port Melbourne SLSC at 6:00am for 6:15am start time
Long Flat Ride 50-140km easy Z2 55-60%FTP in low gears and time in aero
Run 15-20min OTB easily to time

(Pls refer to Ind programs for specifics prior to attending the squad session)

SUNDAY 26TH APRIL
Meeting at Studley Boathouse Car Park at 7:45am for 8:00am RUN start time
Long Hill Run 1:00-2:10hrs at Z2/3 aerobic with elevated intensity finish

The date is set for our end of season awards night - it’ll be post Cairns on Saturday 27th June. After the success of last year we will be following a similar format with a sit down meal.
