Jill McIver Life Member - Mornington Life Saving Club (29 March 1957 โ 24 August 2026)๐๐ค
It is with deep sadness that Mornington Life Saving Club acknowledges the passing of our dear friend and Life Member, Jill McIver.
A club member since 1994, Jill dedicated more than 30 years to the Club and the lifesaving movement. She served as a long-standing Committee member, including roles as Treasurer and Secretary, was a regular patroller, and achieved numerous awards and qualifications.
Jill was a spirited, adventurous and passionate advocate for the Club. Even after moving away from Mornington, she remained closely connected, always taking an interest in the Club's progress, attending AGMs whenever possible and continuing to offer her support and wisdom.
She also played an important role in preserving the history and heritage of Mornington LSC, ensuring many of the Club's treasured stories and artefacts were maintained for future generations.
Jill embodied the values of commitment, community and service.
Her unwavering dedication to lifesaving, her courage, generosity and friendship touched the lives of so many members, past and present.
Jill's contribution, dedication, courage and spirit will never be forgotten. Her memory will live on through the Club she loved and in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her and sharing in her friendship.
