Bounce and Balance is a small recreational gymnastics club in Narrabri. We aim to provide classes that assist strength, coordination, balance and fitness.
Tonight’s fabulous coach is Danielle. As you can see Danielle loved being upside down and not much has changed, she can still do it all. Danielle learnt all her tricks in Port Macquarie and we are so grateful to have her in our club sharing her knowledge.
Our senior coaches often get asked “did you do gymnastics?” and the answer is YES! All of our senior coaches have had many years of experience competing in levels gymnastics.
This week we are going to bring out the archives and showcase our coaches back in their prime.
Starting with Maddy, the head coach and owner. Here is a snippet of Maddy competing at 7 - 13 years old. Maddy competed until she was 16, stopping thanks to an injury requiring surgery. Since then, Maddy started coaching a levels group that she continued coaching until she made the move from Wollongong to Narrabri at 21. It’s now been 9 years in Narrabri and 9 years of B and B!
I wonder if she will make a comeback post baby?

A massive congratulations to our 10 gymnasts who went to Tamworth to compete at the Country Capital Cup. The girls did an amazing job with our levels 3s competing at this level for the first time and our levels 4s achieving PBs across all apparatus’.
Our level 3 girls finished 5th overall and our levels 4 girls finished 7th overall.
The girls showed great resilience and determination in the lead up, with some training 9 hours a week in preparation. We are so proud of every single one of them 💪
A huge shout out to Mary for finishing in 5th place on bars 👏💙
Thank you to all the crew at for organising and hosting such an amazing comp for our gymnasts. It’s an amazing opportunity for all involved 🤠👏
