Membership Renewals Are Now Open for the 2026–2027 Season!

We’re excited to welcome everyone back for another fantastic season at Swansea Belmont Surf Life Saving Club. Whether you’re returning or joining us for the first time, we can’t wait to see you on the beach!

To help make the renewal process as smooth as possible, here are a few handy reminders:

Nippers (Ages 6, 7 )These age groups are limited to 60 participants each, so we encourage families to renew early to avoid missing out.

Ages 8 are full for this season

Choosing the correct age group: All Nippers are registered in their Surf Life Saving Australia age group. If you’re unsure, you can check the age group guide here:

Gym members: To ensure uninterrupted access to the gym, please complete your membership renewal by 31 August.

Parent memberships: Each Nipper membership requires one parent or guardian to also hold a current club membership. If you’re renewing your child, don’t forget to renew your own membership at the same time.

Swansea Belmont Surf Life Saving Club Committee

Swansea Swim Centre’s 50 metre pool will be replaced after detailed investigations uncovered extensive corrosion within the existing structure.
While this wasn’t the outcome we hoped for, the project will deliver a brand-new pool that will serve local families, swimmers and visitors for years to come.

I know the closure will be disappointing for many pool users, but expert advice made it clear that replacement is the only viable long-term solution.

Council remains committed to delivering learn to swim pools at both Swansea and Morisset in the future.

With the Swansea pool replacement now moving ahead, I look forward to working with Council to investigate whether there are opportunities to deliver the learn to swim pool sooner.

I was grateful for the opportunity to meet today with representatives from Friends of Swansea Pool and Lake Macquarie Dolphins Water Polo, alongside Council staff, to explain the situation in more detail and answer their questions.

Council will continue working with user groups to support alternative arrangements during construction and keep the community updated as the project progresses.

🌈 A DAY FOR DELILAH 💗

Join us this Sunday 28th June at the The Orana Hotel as our community comes together to support Swansea Belmont nipper Delilah and her family.

From 12pm–6pm, there will be:

🔨 Live & silent auctions
🍔 Great food & drinks
❤️ Plenty of ways to get involved

There are thousands of dollars worth of prizes to be won, so whether you’re buying a raffle ticket, bidding in the auction, or simply coming along for lunch, every contribution will make a real difference.

As an extra way to support Delilah, 10% of all meal sales on the day will also be donated.
