Welcome to the official page for Sutherland Sharks Basketball, where we will keep you up to There is a large carpark available for your use.

Sutherland Basketball Stadium is located off Rawson Avenue, behind Sutherland Leisure Centre, and opposite Sutherland PCYC. We can easily be found by searching Sutherland District Basketball in google maps. We offer a wide variety of comps (local senior and junior, wheelchair and representative teams), training programs and events available @ the stadium. If you can't find the information you are looking for on our website, or page, feel free to contact us or pop into the stadium for more information.

SDBA is proud to announce our referees of the month for September and October, Emme White and Will Newman.

Emme and Will are two of our quiet achievers within the referee program and they have been stepping up to the plate with every challenge that comes their way as of late. Both Emme and Will have made the leap to under 18's and Senior basketball and have shown a great deal of skill and composure to establish themselves and get a handle on the competitions.

Both Emme and Will are a pleasure to work with and their ability to take on and implement feedback make levelling up their refereeing a breeze.

Thanks for all your hard work out there the last couple of months and congratulations on being recognised the SDBA Referee of the Month!

The Sutherland Sharks are thrilled to announce the appointment of Angus Bourke as head coach of the Sharks NBL1 Men for the next two seasons.

Bourke is no stranger to the Sharks NBL1 Men’s program, having served as the lead assistant coach for the last two seasons, bringing familiarity and consistency to the high-flying Sharks outfit.

Bourke will manage the Sharks NBL1 Men’s program alongside his position as head coach of the NSW metropolitan Men’s team and will be keen to hit the ground running and re-establish a championship roster.
