Shout out to these Wonder Women who completed the UTA 22 yesterday! 👊🏽 Hannah and Johanna ran the 22km trail race through the Blue Mountains with over 1200m elevation 😮 ⛰️ What a phenomenal effort by these two beautiful ladies who, despite the weather and terrain, still have the biggest smiles on their faces post race. 🙌🏽

Special morning with the crew today 👟☀️

We took on the 2119 hills while trialling some of the bounciest and fastest ASICS shoes on the market — plenty of speed, plenty of smiles and a lot of fun along the way.

Huge thanks to Sam from ASICS for bringing the goods and giving us the opportunity to test out the shoes 🙌

And a big thank you to for your continued support of the club, and for shouting the post-run coffees at Hannah’s Beecroft ☕️🤩

A bit late on this one but…CONGRATS to Ben McSweeney who not only ran the Canberra marathon a few weeks ago, but was also a brilliant pacer in the process. He was supported along the way by Nelly and her daughter, Liberty, who also achieved PB’s in their 10km & 5km race the day before. We love seeing our crew kicking goals and inspiring others. 👊🏽

“Pacing Canberra marathon 2026. Up at 4am for breakfast of bananas and water. Out the door to walk to race start at 5am. Pacer group photo and pacer flag fitting at 5:20 then head across to start line for start at 6:05am. The race started and we had about 20-30 core members of our 3hr 45min pacing bus. My other pacer Nick and I ran 5:15-20 min/km pace. The weather was perfect. Staying at 2deg and finishing about 10deg. As a group we saw the sites of Canberra. Our job as pacers is to hold a consistent pace. Make sure everyone fuels and hydrates properly, and motivational statements. Like. “Only 3 parkruns to go. “
The course was tough and the last long hill at 36k broke the group. With only a handful of our starting runners finishing with us. A wonderful experience. And always a privilege to guide people in a race. Particularly the marathon where hours and hours of training and hundreds of kilometres have been travelled in preparation for the race.” - Ben

“On 11 April , I ran the 10km race as part of Canberra Marathon’s weekend. It was terrifically organised and I really couldn’t have asked for better conditions. Slightly breezy, around 7 degrees, sunny and picturesque. Running regularly in 2119 put me in good stead for the small undulations on the course. I did my best to keep an acceptable tempo (and attitude!) while running up to Parliament House after the 8km mark and then enjoyed running my fastest 1km of the race to the finish line. Extremely enjoyable running.” - Nelly
