PS. Tennis

This time it was my turn.
J&A's Quality Concreting Pty Ltd Western Suburbs Townsville Open.

Was blessed to play with the one and only Paul Horn in the mixed doubles. Sadly was beaten by some solid opposition but a great effort considering Paul plays little to no tennis these days.

Next up was Jane Shepherd and I giving the A grade ladies doubles a crack ! A lot of you will recognise Miss Jane from the JDS circuit and Pioneer Tennis Inc. . These 2 busted busted bodies came away with a win !!

And lastly the singles. This time FINALLY beaten by my darling wife and Blue Ball coach Keren. She had to get me one day 😁

Shoutouts to all the winners and extra special mention to Graham who played who first ever tournament (after watching her daughter crush the circuit for MANY years) and coming away runner up !

Thanks to every single person who volunteered their time to make this annual event amazing. Special thanks to the Ash Barty Foundation as well for their contribution to the entire Northern Skies series.

Time for this sore and sorry coach to put her feet up.

Another weekend, another JDS.
This time we headed to Mackay for the Pioneer Tennis Inc. JDS.

Alex Z came away winner of the Division 6 Green Ball
Dom S was winner of Division 3 and Mia B had a fantastic weekend, placing second in Division 5 as well as being awarded the Sportsmanship Award (for the second time )

Regardless of the results, I'm proud of the effort these kids put in, both on and off the court.

Congrats to our squad member Mia on winning the sportsmanship award from the Tennis Townsville JDS last weekend.

Winning isn’t always about the trophy.
Well done on representing yourself, your family, your team and your club so well.

I would like to acknowledge all of our PS. Tennis squad players for their outstanding conduct this tournament. When speaking with the members of our tennis community, the way our players carried themselves both on and off the court was consistently noted. I could not be more proud!

We are proud to be associated with this amazing school who are doing great things !
