This is the stuff dreams are made of… Super Coach of our U17 Blue Boys Joe Webb took the field alongside his son Riley Webb in today’s Third Grade game against Brothers.

Riley has definitely earned his place on the team in a cracker game with significant action off the ball and great pressure that led to big moments. Joe was once again right in it at scrum half, kicking goals and putting his stamp on the outcome. It was also great to see all three Webb girls cheering from the sidelines 💕

They didn’t come away with the biscuits today but it was a terrific game to watch and an insight of what our mighty third grade have to show us this season.

Our ladies take on CT at Hugh Street, kicking off at 12:30pm with our senior men to follow 🦀

Our A Grade Men can’t get enough of the Friday night lights and will be down at Hugh Street tonight to verse Teachers West at 8pm. Be sure to get down and watch our premier men before the rest of our senior teams hit it out tomorrow 💙💛❤️

Up the Reds and go get 'em, Jordan!

When Jordan Neal packed her hopes, belongings and two dogs into her pickup truck and left Townsville last December, there were no guarantees.

She was on the road to Brisbane to do her best to force whatever chances she could in the Queensland Reds women’s squad.

Just making the squad was the first step. After a tough pre-season of toil and learning, two strong trial games followed as auditions.

Come Sunday afternoon, Neal will earn her first cap as a Reds prop against the ACT Brumbies at Ballymore Stadium in Swyftx Super Rugby Women’s.

“I left Townsville because I wanted to have a genuine crack at getting ahead in rugby and get out of my comfort zone,” Neal said.

“I’m so grateful for the help getting a posting in Brisbane.”
