150 YEARS OF CRICKET AT BROOKFIELD!

Brookfield United Cricket Club is incredibly proud to celebrate 150 years of cricket at the Brookfield Showgrounds. Come down and celebrate with us from 9am-1pm on Saturday 29 August 2026. We'll have cricket-inspired activities, a coffee cart, food trucks, cricketing VIPs including legendary Australian captain Allan Border and former QLD and Test player Carl Rackemann, and more!

It's also a great honour to have the QLD Premier The Hon. David Crisafulli MP, Member for Moggill Dr Christian Rowan MP, and Councillor for Pullenvale Ward Mr Greg Adermann down to support the club on this historic occasion.

Bring the whole family along for a fantastic day celebrating 150 years of cricket in Brookfield. Can't wait to see you there!

Are you looking to join a fantastic local cricket club that bats above its average and has a rich social and community culture? Then Brookfield United is for you!
Cricket has been played at the Brookfield Showgrounds, the beautiful home of Brookfield United, for over 150 years and we’re super excited for the 2026/27 season. We’re currently recruiting for our Senior Men’s team, as well as our newly established Over 40s side! Our Seniors play two-day matches on Saturdays from September-March, with our Over 40s playing one-day matches every second Sunday.
If you’re still enjoying your cricket, wanting to get back into it, or even just new to the area and looking for a great bunch of mates to have a post-match beer with win or lose, then please don’t hesitate to reach out via the comments or [email protected]. Great day out at Brookfield. Despite the rain, the game went ahead but unfortunately we did not take home the ANZAC bickies. Well done to the Army XI who won in the final over.
