The haul and lowering system gets built before anyone needs it, redirected through the top anchors and brought back down to ground level so a person or a load can be moved without anyone climbing up to run it. Correct device orientation, tail out the bottom, function test, same again on the second line, then the slip-knot tie-off that locks the whole rig out.

Every hour that facility stayed down was product on the ground.

When a grain storage facility experienced an active product loss, the standard playbook was a crane and man basket, or scaffolding, and a full shutdown. Either one meant days of lost throughput on top of the product already going.
