A little throwback to one of our favourite weekends this month. 🥰

We had such a wonderful time at the Airdrie Children's Festival last week, and we are still feeling the warmth from it.

A huge thank you to the volunteers and organizers who made it all possible. The love and dedication that goes into an event like this for our families and kids is something truly special.

Our dancers just wrapped up the Candance North America Competition Finals, and we could not be prouder of every single performer who stepped onto that stage.

From the opening number to the final bow, you showed up with energy, artistry, and pure joy. You challenged yourselves, supported your teammates, and proved what it means to be part of the APA family.

This is what it looks like when a whole-child philosophy meets a passion for dance. You're not just better dancers than you were in September—you're better people.

Reminder: Dress Rehearsal Week is next week 💜

May 25th through the 30th, students will come during their normal class times with full costume, hair, and makeup done to practice for recital.

Parents, make sure your dancer has their costume, accessories, and any personal items they need ready to go.

Students, this is your chance to step into your costume for the first time and experience what recital will feel like.

Dress rehearsal week is when preparation becomes real! When choreography, music, and costume come together on stage. This is where you build the confidence you'll carry with you when the lights come up on recital night.

Beyond the technical run-throughs, this week is about community, encouragement, and celebrating how far you've come.

We’re hiring a part-time Member Enrolment Coordinator to join our front desk/office team at Ambition Performing Arts in Airdrie.

This role is perfect for:

– College/university students or young adults looking for evening and weekend work
– Organized, people-loving humans who thrive in a busy, positive environment

Hours: Mon–Fri 4:00–9:30 pm, Sat 8:30 am–2:00 pm.

To avoid conflicts of interest, this position isn’t open to current APA parents/guardians or those with children enrolled at APA.
