It's back, and better than ever! Hornfest 2026 is coming September 5-6 at the Airdrie Martial Arts Center. Western Canada's biggest HEMA tournament features 6 events: Open Longsword, Open Gymnasium Saber, Open Sword and Buckler, URG Longsword, URG Saber and Canada's only Cutting tournament.

We went to the Saskatchewan Highland Gathering in Regina alongside this weekend! This was the first tournament run by the local HEMA club so AB had to come out and represent ⚔️ there were competitors from Saskatchewan and Manitoba so it was a nice showing from central Canada.

Coach and won gold in smallsword, broadsword (silver as well), and longsword, but more importantly some of our students also made the podium with bronze in broadsword, 4th in beginner broadsword, and 4th in smallsword. Well done everyone!
