We are so excited and incredibly grateful for the amazing feedback we’ve received about the new programs we began introducing this spring!
From dance classes and Learn to Cheer programs to camps, tumbling, and introductory gymnastics, we are thrilled to continue expanding the opportunities available to athletes and families throughout Cumberland County.
We take pride in the continued education of our coaching staff. Along with our competitive cheerleading certifications, our coaches complete NCCP Multi-Sport training, including Designing a Basic Sport Program, Planning a Practice, Mental Skills, Making Ethical Decisions, Safe Sport, the Rule of Two, and concussion awareness. We also ensure CPR-trained individuals are available within our programming.
Our coaching team brings knowledge and experience from cheerleading and a variety of other sports and activities, allowing us to continue developing fun, introductory opportunities for athletes of different ages and interests.
We also want to be transparent about the programs we offer. Competitive cheerleading is the competitive sport our coaches are specifically trained and certified to coach. Our additional dance, gymnastics, tumbling, camps, and similar programs are offered at a recreational and introductory level only. They are designed to introduce fundamental skills, movement, coordination, confidence, and a love of being active.
We are also proud members of Cheer Nova Scotia and maintain our required membership and insurance each year.
Cumberland County is our home, and this community is at the heart of why we continue to grow. We want local children to have access to more opportunities to get active, try something new, build confidence, make friendships, and discover something they love—right here in their own community.
Every new program we introduce is another opportunity to welcome more families through our doors and create a space where kids can learn, grow, belong, and have fun. We are incredibly thankful to the families who continue to support Cumberland All-Stars, trust our coaches, and allow us to be part of their children’s journeys.
Thank you for continuing to choose local, support local, and grow with Cumberland All-Stars. We are proud to serve Cumberland County, and we can’t wait to see what opportunities we can bring to our community next. 💗💛
