Tatiana Pop Up Workshop! 🇩🇴 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝘄 & 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 (90 Minutes)

Ready to play? This workshop is all about bringing more energy, creativity, and spontaneity to your dancing. Through fun footwork challenges, partner games, and playful movement concepts, you’ll discover how to make your partnerwork feel more dynamic without overcomplicating it.

We’ll explore musical accents, moments of surprise, and creative ways to weave footwork naturally into social dancing.

Expect lots of movement, laughter, and drills that will have you dancing with more confidence, personality, and flow before the weekend even begins.

Tatiana Alfaro is a Toronto-based dancer, instructor, and creative dedicated to making bachata both technically strong and deeply expressive. With a foundation in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, and Latin dance, her teaching blends body awareness, musicality, and intentional movement. She believes confidence is built through understanding the fundamentals, allowing dancers to move with greater freedom, creativity, and connection.

As the founder of Allegra Dance Collective and co-founder of Somos Studios, Tatiana is passionate about creating spaces where dancers can challenge themselves, stay curious, and embrace the process of learning while building a supportive and thriving dance community.

What is Lambada? 🌴

Lambada is a Brazilian partner dance that emerged in the late 1970s and early 1980s in Pará, northern Brazil, before becoming internationally popular in the late 1980s. It’s one of the roots of Brazilian Zouk and is known for its playful energy, flowing movement, musicality, and connection. If you enjoy Salsa, you’ll likely enjoy some Lambada too! 🇧🇷
